shawarma


 cooking time : 30 - 40 minutes 
preparation time : 10 -15 minutes 









ingredients :

boneless skin less chicken breast               400gram
salt to taste                                                 1  tsp
malt vinegar                                               3 tbsp
olive oil                                                     2 tbsp
curd                                                            2 tbsp
cardamom    powder                                      1 tsp
garam masala powder                                   1 tsp
pepper powder to taste 
Lebanese mixed spice powder                        1 tsp




for  shawarma sauce :





for assembling :

sliced onion                     1 ring wise 
sliced tomato                    2 medium size .
salad leaf / lettuce leaf              2 cup  roughly chopped 
pita bread                            3 - 4 





method :


  • in a large baking dish take malt vinegar , olive oil , curd , cardamom powder , garam masala powder , pepper powder , Lebanese mixed spice powder . mix them together .

  • now place the chicken pieces into baking dish , and mix well that all the spices get quoted with chicken pieces . cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and set it into fridge for 8 hours to marinate .
  • then cover baking dish with foil paper and place  it into preheated oven for 30 minutes . then open the foil and cook again for 10 - 15 minutes till water get dry .
  • now cut it into small pieces .

assembling :

  • in a pita bread . slice it into two part . fill it with lettuce leaf , sliced tomato, slice of onion . and chicken pieces . and pour 2 tbsp shawarma sauce into it .
